Meet Your Instructor
Dr. Deisy Prieto is a highly accomplished medical professional who has dedicated her life to the field of nursing and medical aesthetics. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Florida Atlantic University and a Master's and Undergraduate Degree from Florida International University. She is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) since 2004.
Dr. Prieto is a Cuban native who came to the United States at the age of nineteen while she was in her second year of medical school. Despite facing many challenges along the way, she never gave up on her ambitions and dreams. In 2012, she founded her first practice, South Florida Preventive Care Group, in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and later in 2019, she opened a second location in Hollywood, Florida.
Apart from running her successful medical practice, Dr. Prieto is also an accomplished educator who has served as a Clinical Preceptor for the Nurse Practitioner Programs at Barry University and The University of Cincinnati. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University, where she inspires and mentors the next generation of medical professionals.
Dr. Prieto is passionate about promoting high-quality patient care and enhancing learning, which is why she decided to create her own institute. Her institute is dedicated to educating medical professionals on the best practices and strategies for running a profitable medical spa practice. At the institute, attendees will learn everything they need to know about medical spa laws, ownership regulations, HIPAA requirements, marketing, and much more.
